The 15th event in the NDC's seminar series heard presentations from research fellows Dr Michael Olatunde and Dr Alethea Madgett and PhD student Muazu Salisu Muazu.

Thanks to everyone who joined online on Tuesday, 3 December, for 3 fantastic presentations for the 15th event, and the last of 2024, in the National Decommissioning Centre’s online seminar series.
The first presentation was from Research Fellow Dr Michael Olatunde on ‘Dynamic response of an operational shallow-draft floating wind turbine concept’.
PhD student, NDC, School of Engineering, Muazu Salisu Muazu followed with a presentation on ‘Risk based inspection and management of offshore pipelines for energy transition’.
Finally the session heard from marine ecologist and NDC Research Fellow Dr Alethea Madgett who presented on ‘The functional diversity of fish assemblages at a platform jacket habitat compared to nearby natural reef and soft sediment habitats in Western Australia’.
Thanks also to NDC partners that joined us and to NDC Director Professor Richard Neilson and Project Delivery Manager Dr Sergi Arnau for chairing the session and facilitating questions and discussion.
