A new report summarising Scotland’s offshore wind innovation landscape features the NDC.

The Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council (SOWEC) innovation guide highlights funding programs as well as research and testing facilities.

Delivered by Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult the report highlight’s the NDC’s marine simulation capabilities and also features a case study on a C-Dart quick connection mooring system which was trialled and de-risked in the marine simulator. The C-Dart is a system for floating infrastructure and assets, where mooring lines are connected using a revolutionary contact-free automated process.
