NDC staff welcomed Deputy Lieutenants of Aberdeenshire Jim Buchan and James N'Dow.

Staff at the NDC were pleased to welcome Deputy Lieutenants of Aberdeenshire Jim Buchan, head of Peterhead marine engineering firm J&J Buchan, and Professor James N’Dow director of the Academic Urology Unit at the University of Aberdeen.

They were particularly interested to hear about the rapidly evolving offshore energy sector, the NDC’s successful collaborations and the positive impact its work is having in the local area.

As part of the visit the Deputy Lieutenants also had the opportunity to see a demonstration in the marine simulator and visit the technical services unit which offers independent testing and verification to the offshore industry.
