The Aberdeenshire Digital Doors Open Days weekend was 19th and 20th September 2020. Aberdeenshire presented its largest ever digital offering as they celebrated Aberdeenshire and the nation’s buildings online. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was agreed that Doors Open Days 2020 would go digital within Aberdeenshire this year to ensure that people in Aberdeenshire and across the country could continue to safely explore Scotland’s buildings. Not only did the digital format enable local residents to enjoy an insight into North-east architecture from the comfort of their own home, they were able to take a peek inside buildings the length and breadth of the country without the need for travel.
